講座內(nèi)容簡介：

Perhaps the classical isoperimetric problem is the most known mathematical problem. It is closely related to Sobolev inequality in analysis. The direct and natural extension of the isoperimetric inequality is the Minkowski inequality that is closely related to the well-known Minkowski problem. We will report some recent geometric inequalities and related analytic functional inequalities from view point of integral and convex geometry.

講座人簡介：

周家足，西南大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)院教授、博士生導(dǎo)師；數(shù)學(xué)研究所所長；中國數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)第11屆常務(wù)理事；美國坦普爾（Temple）大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)博士（PhD）；曾獲1997香港求是基金會(huì)“杰出青年學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)”；2018中國政府友誼獎(jiǎng)；中華人民共和國外國專家局“重點(diǎn)引進(jìn)專家”；“重慶市友誼獎(jiǎng)”；貴州省黔東南民族職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院名譽(yù)院長，特聘教授凱里學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院名譽(yù)院長、貴州省“候鳥型學(xué)者”;湖北省“楚天學(xué)者”(武漢科技大學(xué)特聘)主講教授；1977年畢業(yè)于武漢大學(xué)；曾任教于美國West Alabama大學(xué)，阿曼蘇丹王國皇家Sultan Qaboos大學(xué)，Lehigh大學(xué)，紐約大學(xué)（Research Professor）等；主要從事整體微分幾何﹑積分幾何﹑凸幾何分析不等式等研究；在Trans. AMS、Proc. AMS、Adv. Math.、Adv. Appl. Math.、“中國科學(xué)”、“數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)報(bào)”等數(shù)學(xué)專業(yè)雜志上發(fā)表論文70余篇; 2006年以來主持國家自然科學(xué)基金，教育部博士點(diǎn)重點(diǎn)基金等多項(xiàng)科研項(xiàng)目。
